"I'm originally from Guatemala, but my parents moved here while I was very young and I grew up in Fallbrook for most of my life. I went to Palomar College for photography and as much as I wanted to go to a 4 year college, I had to stay for my family and especially my brother.I started shooting with film and eventually became a photo editor for about 3 years. All of that experience has helped me get to where I am today with my editing style and my photography. It actually wasn't until February of this past year that I was able to get a DSLR to shoot with. I had friends model for me and from there started sharing my photos on Instagram in April. It wasn't until then I realized how important social media is, and even though I was so shy, I attended my first Beers and Cameras event. The most encouraging thing was having that support, with the people from Beers and Cameras, close friends, and just seeing how by sharing my work, people would reach out to me and enjoy what I shared!Photography allows me to be more creative and it's awesome how I can take something in real life and capture the moment in a photo. I also love manipulating photos, but that process alone can take up to hours! I've found my favorite style of photography has become lifestyle and creative. And my main goal is to reach out and get my name out there so I can eventually make this my career....It's very difficult when you see people in the same field doing great things and at times gets discouraging, but I have to remind myself to keep going to get to where I want to be with my photography. At the end of the day, there will be people who like us and people who don't, but we can't let that stop us."

She has an incredible energy and has a knack for capturing stunning photos that you just have to see for yourself! We even spontaneously went to see the Perseids Meteor Shower together after chatting about how neat it would be to drive east to see it ourselves, and that's exactly what we did!Since then we've become great friends with Leslie and continue to follow her growing photography journey. We're so excited to stay connected with her and work with her on future projects, so stay tuned with us and keep up with her and her beautiful photography on Instagram!
