Even just letting go of that idea that success is a linear thing and that ‘if I work my ass off, I’m gonna be fine’ because sometimes the reality is, you can work your butt off, but if you’re not smart about your decisions, it could not work for you. It’s about getting down to the basics of what I needed for myself and how can I take care of myself and make sure I keep going, because I want to keep showing up for my community.”
