There is a lot of chaos online but I feel like it’s our responsibility whether you know information or not to only share what will help us progress from where we’re at. So yes, definitely let people know what’s really going on. Change the narrative that is being manipulated. But share the information that will help us progress because that’s what we’re fighting for, that’s the root of it.

A lot of people, especially in San Diego, have been posting a lot of Black-owned businesses, and this has been a conversation for a very long time that whenever Black people try to create some sort of community, it’s broken down by someone, usually someone who has a lot of money, power, or authority. It’s definitely a time to share news and change the narrative to what the people are experiencing, but also move that narrative to progress the community.

TUNE INTO THE PODCAST HERE

I am so grateful to introduce to you all today’s guest, Cedrice Webber! You may know her and recognize her from Season 18 of The Voice, but she is more than a singer, she’s an actress, a model, a speaker, and an overall inspiring human to be around.

Her energy is infectious and I’m excited for you all to tune in to this conversation as we chat about her experience on The Voice Season 18, the journey of growth as an artist, navigating confidence and identity, and understanding our role in anti-racism and the Black Lives Matter movement.
